Co-Founder & CEO at Aerostrat

Elliot Margul is the Co-Founder and CEO of Aerostrat. Elliot was previously a Senior Financial Planning Analyst at Alaska Airlines from July 2013 to February 2016, where they were responsible for airframe, power plant, material, component, wage, outside line maintenance, and lease return provisioning forecasting and cost tracking. Elliot also created a new forecasting method for power plant maintenance to better track T&M costs through cost gates, understand shop visit and costs risks, and better allocate unused unscheduled removal funds. In addition, they designed and implemented a semi-bottom up component forecast and budgeting and forecasting method, and produced a dynamic lease return and extension calculator with lease condition monitors via Tableau.

Prior to working at Alaska Airlines, Margul was the Director of Information and Technology at the Business Information and Technology Society from May 2012 to May 2013. Elliot was also a Partner at Bits Consulting from January 2012 to June 2013.

Elliot Margul attended the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business, where they received their BBA in Accounting, Finance, and Information Systems. Elliot also holds a High School Diploma from the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy. In addition, Elliot is certified by Tableau Software in Tableau Desktop 8 Qualified Associate and by CompTIA in A+.
