Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions and hardware for educational technologies. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has focused on the development of interactive whiteboards and flat panels. Prior to this role, Chris gained valuable experience as a firmware engineer, electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, and electronics engineer at Grindcom, where circuit design and control systems for the forestry industry were key responsibilities. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
