John Hinkle

John Hinkle is a seasoned mechanical designer with extensive experience in the aerospace and defense sectors. Currently serving as a Sr. Design/Draftsman at AeroVironment since April 2020, John focuses on the development and maintenance of UAV documentation for military and commercial applications. As the owner of TECHDRAFT.com since June 1999, John has specialized in high tolerance machine design and 3D solid modeling. Previous roles include mechanical design positions at notable companies such as Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense, Northrop Grumman - Astro Aerospace, and Crane Aerospace & Electronics, where John contributed to the design of complex assemblies and specialized equipment. John's educational background includes an Associate's degree in Mechanical Design and Technical Illustration from Sawyer College.
