Karlo Sarmiento

Karlo Sarmiento is a Flight Test Safety Engineer at AeroVironment since July 2023, bringing a diverse background in engineering and military aviation. Prior to this role, Karlo served as a Senior Field Technical Support Engineer at Lockheed Martin from April 2022 to July 2023 and accumulated extensive experience as a Military Helicopter Pilot and Mission Planner, as well as a Military Helicopter Mechanic during a tenure with the US Army from August 2009 to April 2022. Additionally, Karlo held the position of Field Service Administrator for the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet at CDW•G from October 2021 to March 2022. Karlo is currently pursuing a Master of Systems Engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, having previously earned a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Science from the same institution.
