Ruchir Patel is an experienced Autonomy Robotics Engineer at AeroVironment since March 2020, previously serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland from January 2017 to September 2019, where Ruchir focused on multi-vehicle route planning and UAV path planning for risk mitigation in inhabited areas. Ruchir also gained experience as a Systems Engineering Intern at Sikorsky Aircraft in 2015, contributing to risk management and specification updates. Ruchir holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland (2018-2019) and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution (2013-2017).
