Tracy Stapleton

Tracy Stapleton serves as Senior Director and Assistant Product Line General Manager for Medium UAS Platforms at AeroVironment since February 2021, overseeing the growth and accountability of the product line, including bookings, P&L, and customer satisfaction. Previously, Tracy was Vice President of Business Development at Ace Aeronautics, leading the development of avionic and airframe solutions, and Director of Army Aviation Business Development at FLIR Systems, where a significant increase in annual sales and recognition as the Surveillance Sales Team of the Year were achieved. Tracy's background includes extensive military experience as an Instructor Pilot and Test Pilot for the U.S. Army and USSOCOM, as well as vital program management roles and participation in high-level corporate advisory boards. Academic credentials include a graduate of the FLIR Leadership & Innovation Program, alongside training at the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School and a Bachelor's degree from The University of Virginia's College at Wise.
