Saman Weerasinghe

Saman Weerasinghe is a skilled software engineering professional with extensive experience in various leadership and technical roles. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer III at AERQ, Saman has developed a high-performance ground portal for aircraft applications, achieving a significant improvement in user experience through advanced technologies. Previously, as Vice President of Engineering and Chief Software Architect at oDoc, Saman led and mentored cross-functional teams while managing recruitment efforts. Saman's prior experience includes roles as a Software Architect at Salpo Technologies and Creation application, where strategic technology stack selection and project management were key responsibilities. Early career contributions as a Technical Lead at Synapsys and Application Developer at Make Stuff Happen involved designing and developing web and mobile applications. Saman is currently pursuing an MSc in Information Technology, Computer Engineering at Cardiff Metropolitan University.
