Mario Maes

Mario Maes has extensive experience in the automotive and fleet management sectors, spanning over two decades. From January 1997 to January 2016, Mario held various leadership roles at Aertssen Group, including Procurement & Technical Manager Group Fleet, Fleet- & Technical Manager, and Hoofd Technische Dienst. Prior to this, Mario worked at European Rental Systems NV from July 1994 to October 1997, managing fleet and workshop operations for a leasing company with 800 vehicles. Earlier career roles included technician positions at Probemo NV and Van Lokeren Transport NV in 1994 and 1993, respectively. Mario Maes holds a Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology with a specialization in Trucks & Trailers from Karel de Grote-Hogeschool.
