Francisco Javier Jáuregui Alonso

Francisco Javier Jáuregui Alonso has extensive work experience in the energy sector. Francisco Javier started their career at COMSA as a Technical Assistant and later worked at INECO-TIFSA as a Technician at the Department of Coordination and Offers. Francisco Javier then joined Grupo Aldesa Mexico, where they held various roles including Head for Development of Projects and Energy Division Manager. During their time at Grupo Aldesa Mexico, they specialized in infrastructure projects and was responsible for promoting, developing, and operating energy projects.

Afterwards, Jáuregui Alonso joined ENGIE as a Business Development Manager, where they focused on the development of energy projects and renewable energy projects strategy for Mexico. Francisco Javier later became the Head of Renewables at ENGIE Chile, leading business development and managing the renewable energy projects portfolio. Some of their successful projects include the Calama 151.2MW wind-farm and the Capricornio PV 97. Jáuregui Alonso also served as a Senior Manager of Business Development at ENGIE Chile.

In 2020, Jáuregui Alonso joined ENGIE Latinoamérica as the Head of Renewables Chile & Greenfield Projects Origination Latam. Francisco Javier was also a Member of the Board of Directors of GNL del Sur Holding Company, a position they held until 2022.

Currently, Jáuregui Alonso works at AES Andes as the Business Development Director.

Francisco Javier Jáuregui Alonso holds a degree in Agronomical Engineering, specializing in Energy, from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Francisco Javier also attended Colegio Valdeluz, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown.
