Gustavo Bopp Montero

Gustavo Bopp Montero is an experienced Hydro Sourcing and Procurement Manager at AES Andes since June 2013, where leadership of procurement teams in Panama and South America focuses on sourcing high-quality materials and services for hydro operations. Gustavo has also served as Global Category Manager, leading initiatives such as the Green Hydrogen roadmap and managing service agreements for gas and steam turbines. Previously, as Senior Project Procurement Specialist, development and negotiation of agreements for power generation were key responsibilities. Earlier roles included Energy and Strategic Sourcing Leader at Collahuasi, Non Food Category Planner at Cencosud S.A., and Financial Analyst at Cintra. Gustavo holds an MBA in Finance from Tulane University and an MSc in Civil Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Chile.
