Richard Michaud has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Richard began their career at Northeast Security, Inc in 2009 as a Security Account Manager, where they worked until 2012. Following this, they joined Alarmex Inc in 2012 as a Fire Alarm Inspection Scheduler/Operations role until 2021. During this time, Richard also started their own company, Michaud Services, in 1995, where they served as the Owner/Constable for 25 years. In 2021, Richard joined AES Corporation as a Jr. Support Specialist, later progressing to the role of Technical Support Supervisor, and is currently working as the Director of Technical Support.

Richard Michaud attended Ipswich High School from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained their high school diploma. In terms of additional certifications, Richard obtained the following: Alarm.com Certified Technician from Alarm.com in March 2016, FEMA - Active Shooter: What You Can Do in October 2011, FEMA-Basic Workplace Security Awareness in October 2011, Chemical Safety Awareness Training in July 2011, Fundamentals of Business Management (Management in Perspective) in June 2011, Fundamentals of Business Management (Functions of Front-Line Management) in July 2010, Business Ethics (Everyday Ethical Dilemmas) in June 2010, Chemical-Terrorism Vulnerability Information in June 2010, and Crowd Manager Training Program from MA State Fire Marshal in November 2017.
