Anita Munkres

Anita Munkres serves as the Director of Real Estate for the Western Region at The AES Corporation since May 2021, supporting the development of renewable energy projects across the Western United States. Previously, Munkres held the positions of Manager of Real Estate and Real Estate Project Manager at the same company, overseeing project delivery for solar, wind, battery, and other renewable energy initiatives. Prior to this role, Munkres took a sabbatical after a tenure at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (now Occidental Petroleum Corp), where management of land analysts and coordination of a 350 well drilling program were key responsibilities. Additional experience includes roles at Guardian Title Agency, LLC as Title Production Manager and Title Examiner, Transnation Title - LandAmerica as Commercial Title Examiner, and Stewart Title as Title Examiner. Munkres holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Colorado State University Global, obtained between June 2015 and February 2021.
