Harish Pillai

Harish Pillai has a strong background in EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) management and cyber security. Harish currently serves as the Director of AES US Infrastructure and Cyber Security at The AES Corporation. Prior to this role, they held positions as the Senior Manager of Global EHS Governance and Business Resilience and as a Global EHS Manager at the same company. Harish also worked as the Regional EHS Taskforce Leader for AES Corporation's Asia, Middle East, Europe, Africa Region. Before joining AES Corporation, they served as the EHS Manager at Ras Laffan Power Company and the HSE Manager at Enel Power, Qatar. Harish started their career as a Site Supervisor at Elder Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

Harish Pillai has a diverse education history. Harish obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Environmental, Health and Safety from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2017. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on International Business from Annamalai University from 2006 to 2008. Harish also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety from the National Institute of Labor Education & Management, which they completed in 2002. Harish's academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Kerala, which they earned from 1992 to 1995. In addition to their formal education, Harish has acquired several certifications, including Certified Cyber Resilience Professional (CCRP) and Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) from DRI International. Harish has also obtained various certifications related to cybersecurity, delegation skills, and auditing throughout the years.
