Joe Briney is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in photovoltaic system design and management. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at The AES Corporation since January 2022, Joe has previously held engineering roles at sPower, Spire, Hawaii Energy Connection LLC, and Kurt Kammerer & Associates. At Spire, responsibilities included overseeing commercial scale PV system installations from design to commissioning. At Hawaii Energy Connection LLC, Joe was the sole engineer tasked with designing commercial photovoltaic systems and supporting residential projects. Education includes a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Loyola Marymount University, completed in 2006.
