Kevin Bennett is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as Sr. Director at The AES Corporation since December 2022, Kevin previously co-owned Platte River Energy Resources LLC from January 2021 until its acquisition by AES Clean Energy. Prior to this role, Kevin was the Director of M&A at Apex Clean Energy from 2016 to 2021 and worked as a Business Development Manager at Chevron from 2012 to 2016. Kevin's career began in the United States Marine Corps, where the rank of Captain was held from 2005 to 2011. Kevin holds an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a BBA in Business Economics and Public Policy from The George Washington University.
