Philip Locke

Philip Locke, PE is an experienced Reliability Engineer at The AES Corporation since March 2017, providing expertise in asset management and reliability engineering for the AES Southland fleet, which includes three natural gas fired electricity generation stations with a total capacity of 3,960 MW in Southern California. Previous roles include serving as an AES Southland Engineer, where technical engineering support was provided for the same fleet, and as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Fluor Corporation, managing equipment packages for combined-cycle power plant construction projects. Philip's experience also encompasses his work as a Mechanical Systems Engineer at AREVA Inc., where design and analysis projects aimed at improving system reliability were completed, and as an ES Engineer at Milliken & Company, overseeing equipment management and failure analysis. Philip began the engineering career as a summer intern at Progress Energy, supporting various engineering projects. Philip holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University, earned in 2007.
