Regina Caluya

Regina Caluya is an Associate Energy Engineer at AESC, Inc. since September 2016. Prior experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Project Advisor and Researcher at UC San Diego, where Regina managed and executed sustainable technology projects, including solar pathway lights and aquaponics systems for non-profits like Gawad Kalinga. Notable accomplishments include guiding a team to design a 70 kW solar system for Nigeria and achieving recognition as a finalist in the Social Innovation Challenge. Regina's background in research includes synthesizing materials for energy applications and analyzing energy efficiency using advanced simulation tools. Regina holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from UC San Diego.
