Preston Vu

Preston Vu is a Vision System Engineer at AESC, bringing expertise in vision systems and integration. Previously, as a Senior Process Engineer at Rivian, they developed engineering guides, a vision line program for identifying welding spots, and managed defect tracking through custom scripts. Preston's earlier experiences include working as a Process Engineer at Panasonic Energy of North America, where they utilized machine learning to predict defects and created custom scripts to track ongoing projects, and as a Quality Control Inspector, handling various inspection processes. They began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Nevada, Reno, focusing on data analysis and wet lab experiments. Preston holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry from the University of Nevada, Reno.
