Alex Linde

SVP, Product at aescape

Alex Linde has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting from 2002, they founded and served as the CTO of Mobyjoe Limited, a mobile marketing startup. In 2006, they became the VP of Applications at Colibria AS. Alex then founded Joemoby, a side-project focused on developing a Java-based micro-runtime for mobile phones, which was later acquired by Qualcomm in 2008. From 2008 to 2012, they worked at Yahoo!, where they held the positions of Director of Mobile Platforms and Director of Mobile & Tablet Advertising. At Yahoo!, they led a product and engineering team responsible for global mobile and tablet advertising products. Afterwards, Alex joined The Weather Channel, where they initially served as the VP of Mobile & Digital Apps, leading multiple product teams and focusing on quality and user research. Later, they became the SVP of Monetization, leading teams responsible for ad tech, ad products, and creative. From 2014 to 2016, Alex worked at eBay as the VP of Advertising, Traffic & Merchandising. In this role, they oversaw eBay's marketing technology and advertising experiences across platforms and regions. Following their time at eBay, they took a yearlong break to explore different regions with their family. In 2018, they joined Uber as part of the Marketplace Control team, and in 2019, they became the Head of Product at Digisure, Inc., a new insurance technology startup targeting the property and casualty market. Currently, Alex holds the position of SVP of Product at Aescape, a company focused on wellness solutions.

Alex Linde studied Computing, Usability, and Consumer behaviour at the University of Life. The specific start and end years of this education are not provided.
