Chang Yi Wei

Chang Yi Wei has a diverse work experience in mechanical engineering roles. Chang started their career in 2007 as a Mechanical Engineer at Direction Technology Co., where they created 3D and 2D drawings, coordinated with manufacturing teams, and ensured designs were optimized for mass production. Chang then worked at Foxconn as a Mechanical Engineer, conducting feasibility studies, evaluating new structures, and collaborating with other functions for key component selection. At Cal-comp Electronics, Inc., they served as a Product Manager, planning project schedules, evaluating manufacturing costs, and facilitating communication between customers, R&D, and production teams. Chang then joined Compal Electronics, Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer Leader, managing projects for startup customers and working closely with foreign customers on technical support. Chang later joined Avid Technology as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, where they created CAD files, troubleshooted project development, and collaborated with cross-functional engineering teams. Chang also worked at FlatFrog as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, supporting concept design, developing product specifications, and providing technical direction to project teams. Chang'smost recent role is at Aescape, where they serve as a Senior Supply Base Engineer, evaluating and proposing engineering processes and suppliers for manufacturing and new product innovation.

Chang Yi Wei completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at National Ilan University in Taiwan from 2002 to 2006.
