Karim Shaar is a Senior Environmental Consultant at AESG since June 2023, with extensive experience in environmental assessment and management. Prior roles include serving as a Senior Environmental Assessment Specialist at NEOM and an Assistant Project Manager at ELARD. Karim's career also includes significant contributions as a HSE Engineer and Environmental Coordinator at Consolidated Contractors International Company, where responsibilities included risk management and developing ISO14001:2015 certified environmental procedures. Earlier experience features coordination of environmental projects at the Society for the Protection of Nature in Lebanon and research assistance at the American University of Beirut's Nature Conservation Center. Karim holds a Master of Science in Environmental Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health from the American University of Beirut.
