In addition to this role, Torsten Matthias is a Co-Funder of MODAG, which focuses on advanced treatments for neurodegenerative diseases through targeted therapeutics and diagnostics. Previously, Torsten Matthias served as the Head of the Research and Development Department at ORGENTEC Diagnostika GmbH from 1992 to 1999, where expertise was gained in molecular biology, autoimmunity product development, quality control, and marketing. Torsten Matthias earned a Doctor's Degree in Biochemistry and Gene Technology from Bielefeld University and a Doctor's Degree in Physical Biochemistry from Technische Universität Dresden.
