Akiko Hayashi

Akiko Hayashi is an accomplished retail executive with extensive experience in the fashion industry, currently serving as the Country Manager and Head of Retail for Aesop Japan since November 2022. Prior to Aesop, Akiko spent six years at Prada Group as the Retail Operations Senior Manager for Miu Miu, managing multiple stores across Japan and other regions. Akiko's prior roles include Retail Sales Manager at Staff International, where responsibilities included overseeing the MM6 Maison Margiela brand, and various positions at Diana Co, WANDERLUST DISTRIBUTION INC., MOMO Company, and Misaki Shoji, gaining expertise in sales management, merchandising, and brand development. Akiko holds a Bachelor's degree in Laws from Ryukoku University and has studied at the University of Westminster.
