Arjan Zoombelt

Arjan Zoombelt currently serves as Senior Director of Product Development at Aether since January 2023. Previously, Arjan held various positions at Zymergen from August 2017 to December 2022, including R&D Director and Senior Materials Scientist. Arjan's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Research Investigator and Research Investigator at DuPont from October 2013 to August 2017, where responsibilities included leading project teams and establishing new laboratory protocols while ensuring safety standards. Arjan's academic background includes a PhD from Eindhoven University of Technology and a Master's degree from Utrecht University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree from Saxion University of Applied Sciences.
