Piers Haken

Piers Haken has a vast and diverse work experience. Piers started their career as a Software Design Engineer at Microsoft Corporation in 1993 and worked there until 1998. Piers then joined Friskit, Inc. as their Chief Software Engineer in 2000 and stayed with them until 2003. After that, Piers worked at Crackle, Inc. (A Sony Pictures Company) as a Chief Architect from 2003 to 2006, and later as Chief Software Architect from 2004 to 2008.

In 2009, they joined 4delite as their Chief Software Architect and served in that role until 2012, when they became the CTO of 4Mads. Piers stayed with 4Mads until October 2012 and then moved to Digital Film Cloud Network (DFCN) as their Chief Architect until June 2016.

From June 2016 to April 2020, Piers worked as the Chief Technology Officer at NetLevel. Finally, in April 2020, they joined Aetheros as a Senior Software Engineer, where they are currently employed.

Piers Haken pursued their tertiary education from 1990 to 1993 at Durham University. Piers completed a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Computer Science, being awarded the degree of BSc (Hons Dunelm).
