Zachary Graham has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Zachary then worked as a Student Assistant at UC Davis, where they specialized in characterizing MEMs tunable filters. During their time at UC Santa Cruz, Zachary served as a Graduate Student Researcher. Zachary also worked as a Co-op Intern at Cisco, gaining valuable industry experience.

Zachary Graham's experience in embedded systems engineering began at Grid Net, where they worked as an Embedded Software Engineer. During this time, they focused on cellular IoT and IIoT, board support packages, device drivers, and hardware rework/troubleshooting. Zachary also worked with build systems such as Yocto Project/openembedded and buildroot, operating systems like GNU/Linux and Busybox/Linux, and languages such as C/C++. Additionally, they worked with various protocols including ZigBee SEP, HDLC, ANSI C12.19, MQTT, and radio technology.

After their tenure at Grid Net, Zachary joined Aetheros as a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer. Here, they continued to work on cellular and IIoT projects, board support packages, hardware design and review, hardware bring-up, and hardware rework/troubleshooting. Zachary also collaborated with contract manufacturers to design new products and establish manufacturing lines. Zachary utilized similar technologies and languages as their previous role, including Yocto Project/openembedded, buildroot, GNU/Linux, Busybox/Linux, C/C++, HDLC, and ANSI C12.

Zachary's career progression at Aetheros led him to become the Director of Hardware Engineering. Currently, they hold this position, where they are responsible for managing and leading the hardware engineering team.

In addition to their industry experience, Zachary also has academic experience. Zachary worked as a Guest PhD at the Technical University of Denmark and served as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Santa Cruz.

From 2010 to 2016, Zachary attended the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they pursued a PhD in Electrical Engineering. During this period, they obtained the EIT certification from NCEES in June 2016. In April 2018, Zachary attained the Amateur Radio General Class certification from the Federal Communications Commission.
