Vera Frajzyngier

Vera Frajzyngier is the Vice President of Scientific Research at Aetion. Vera previously held roles as Director of Epidemiology at Boehringer Ingelheim and Pfizer, where Vera specialized in designing and implementing epidemiologic strategies to examine pharmaceutical product safety. Vera has also served as an Adjunct Professor at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and Baruch College, teaching courses related to pharmacoepidemiology and population health assessment. With a background in anthropology, Vera obtained a BS from McGill University, an MPH in Sociomedical Sciences, and a PhD in Epidemiology from Columbia University. Prior to their current roles, Vera worked at EngenderHealth and the National Development and Research Institutes conducting research and providing technical assistance in various health-related projects. Vera also worked as a Consultant at the International Centre for Migration and Health.
