Andrew Cavanaugh

Andrew Cavanaugh is an experienced fire service professional with a career spanning over 15 years in various roles, currently serving as Fire Captain at the City of Wilmington, DE since January 2009. Andrew has held key positions including Fire Lieutenant, where responsibilities included logistics, public information, compliance, and policy development. Additionally, Andrew contributes to the Comprehensive School Safety Program with the Delaware Emergency Management Agency and serves as an instructor at the Delaware State Fire School. Previous roles at Aetna Hose, Hook & Ladder Company include Deputy Fire Chief and Assistant Fire Chief, while earlier experience includes work as a Firefighter at Mill Creek Fire Company and as a Fire/Life Safety Inspector at the University of Delaware. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Safety Administration and is pursuing a Master of Science in Cybersecurity at Neumann University.
