Alvin Cottles

Alvin Cottles is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in solutions architecture and management. Currently serving as a Senior Solutions Architect at Aetos Systems, Inc. since July 2016, Alvin leads the development of secure and efficient IT solutions tailored to customer needs. Prior roles include Senior Solutions Architect at Dynetics Technical Services, Inc. from July 2013 to July 2016, where leadership was provided for a web application migration project at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center. Additionally, Alvin was a Senior Manager at SAIC from June 2007 to July 2016, focusing on strategic planning for NASA’s Enterprise Application Competency Center using the SCRUM methodology. Early career experience includes a position as Senior Computer Scientist at Quality Research from September 1998 to February 2003. Alvin holds a Master of Science in Computer and Information Sciences from Alabama A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences from Athens State University.
