Alastair Fletcher

Alastair Fletcher has over 15 years of diverse work experience in product management, business analysis, project management, and technical roles. Currently, they are the Head of Product at Aevi, where they have been working since October 2022. Before that, they worked as a Senior Product Manager at Spreedly from November 2021 to October 2022. Prior to that, Alastair held the position of Senior Product Manager at AEVI from February 2018 to October 2021.

Alastair also has experience working at Vodafone, where they served as a Technical Product Owner from February 2017 to February 2018 and as a Product Manager from June 2016 to February 2017. Alastair initially joined Vodafone in 2013 and held various roles including Product Manager and Solution Designer, Technical Writer, Business Analyst, and Project Manager. During their time at Vodafone, they gained expertise in API, Tibco, JIRA, Agile Scrum methodology, Confluence, identity management systems, and CRM.

Earlier in their career, Alastair worked at PADI as a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, responsible for instructing and ensuring the safety of dive students. Alastair also worked at Atos International as a Business Analyst, where they collected and analyzed business and technical requirements, produced deliverable documents, and matched IT systems to client needs.

Alastair Fletcher completed their education at the University of Bath, starting with a BSc (Hons) in Natural Sciences from 2002 to 2005. Alastair then pursued an MSc in Computer Science from 2005 to 2006. In addition to their academic achievements, Alastair obtained various certifications. In 2009, they became a Master Scuba Diver Instructor through PADI. In 2013, they obtained the Professional Scrum Master certification from Scrum.org. In 2014, Alastair earned the AgilePM certification from APMG-International. Their most recent certification is the IBM Blockchain Foundation for Developers, which they obtained from Coursera in January 2018.
