Neal Sharma

Neal Sharma is a Managing Director of the firm and AEW’s co-General Counsel. Mr. Sharma manages AEW legal, regulatory and compliance matters. He also serves as an advisor to Investment Committee. Prior to joining AEW, Mr. Sharma practiced at the law firm Goodwin, LLP, in its Real Estate and Private Investment Funds groups. Prior to joining Goodwin, Mr. Sharma provided legal and consulting services to the affordable housing and supportive services firm Cascap, Inc. Prior to attending graduate school, Mr. Sharma was an analyst at the information technology service and consulting firm Accenture. Mr. Sharma is a graduate of Boston University (B.S., Biomedical Engineering), University of Michigan Law School (J.D.), and University of Michigan Ross School of Business (M.B.A.).
