Ulrich Weinmann

Dr. Ulrich Weinmann earned his doctorate in computer science from the University of Tbingen. He spent his early years at BMW in the engineering department focusing on multimedia and speech processing. During this time, Dr. Weinmann rose to be the CEO of BMW, Car IT, a subsidiary of BMW. His experience has taken him from the BMW Global Development Head of Infotainment and Navigation to becoming the Managing Director, COO of Alpine Electronics. Most recently, Dr. Weinmann was SVP of Global Customer Business at HARMAN International, a leading automobile-connected products and solutions. His experience is invaluable to the AEye team.
