Randy Baggett

Randy Baggett is an experienced project management consultant currently employed at Aeyon since May 2022, where responsibilities include managing the pre-Phase A development of the mid-EX Heliophysics proposal for NASA (MEADOS). Prior to Aeyon, Randy Baggett had a notable career at NASA from April 1985 to April 2022, serving as the IXPE Project Manager and successfully leading the development of an X-ray Polarimetry Mission. Additional roles at NASA included Assistant Manager of the Science and Space Technology Projects Office and Manager of the Chandra X-Ray Observatory, where oversight included planning and budgeting for Chandra operations. As Mission Manager for the GRAIL mission, Randy Baggett played a crucial role in its successful launch in September 2011. Early career experience includes serving as an Electrical Engineer at Alabama Power Company from January 1980 to March 1985. Randy Baggett earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University between 1977 and 1980.
