Louis Nollet holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering Technology from KU Leuven and a postgraduate degree in Innovative Entrepreneurship from Ghent University. Currently serving as a Senior Project Engineer at AF Offshore Decom since June 2023, Louis previously worked as a Project Engineer at Scaldis Salvage & Marine Contractors NV from November 2019 to December 2022, focusing on offshore heavy lifting projects. Additional experience includes an exhibition builder role at InstallEx and a Project Engineer internship at DEME Group where insight into the dredging industry and project management was gained during the Hinkley Point C project. Louis also completed a postgraduate internship at BESIX, which involved a feasibility study on renewable energy applications in wastewater treatment. Participation in the Blue Growth Summerschool at Greenbridge incubatie- en innovatiecentrum Gent-Oostende highlighted involvement in blue growth initiatives.
