Kim Thai is an experienced engineer and researcher with a strong background in safety science and injury analysis. Currently serving as a Project Lead for the EV Emergency Responders' Essential Safety Training (EVEREST) project at AFAC and as a Principal Consultant at Bennu Research, Kim has held various roles since joining Fire and Rescue NSW in December 2015, including Senior Research Officer focused on fire safety policy. With a solid foundation in biomechanics and engineering from UNSW, Kim has contributed to multiple committees concerning renewable energy and safety standards, while also gaining extensive experience in research, testing, and the development of personal protective equipment.
