Michelle Heimerman

Michelle Heimerman is a seasoned photography professional with extensive experience in the media industry. Currently serving as the Director of Photography at Afar Media since August 2021, Michelle previously held the position of Senior Visuals Editor at Bon Appetit from August 2018 to August 2021. During a tenure as Photo Editor at Saveur Magazine from August 2014 to January 2018, Michelle produced and edited 138 photo shoots across 42 countries for various print issues, managed photography budgets, and cultivated relationships with notable international photographers. Additional achievements include contributing to social media platforms, conducting photo research for editorial sections, and curating a photography exhibit in collaboration with the Museum of Food and Drink. Michelle holds a Bachelor's Degree in Photography from Syracuse University, earned between 2003 and 2007, and worked as a Senior Project Manager at INC Design prior to her editorial roles.
