Xinmin Simon Xie

Xinmin Simon Xie is the founder and CEO of AFASCI. Xinmin has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Xinmin has a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of California, San Francisco, and has held various positions in drug discovery and development, including Senior Scientist at SRI International, Head of the HTS Laboratory at SRI International, Senior Scientist at Deltagen, and Senior Research Fellow at Theravance, Inc. Xinmin has also served as a Group Leader at GlaxoWellcome and as a Research Scientist at Wellcome Research Laboratories.

Xinmin Simon Xie has earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmacology and Neuroscience from the University of London, a Doctor of Medicine - MD from the University of Bern, and is currently a Doctor of Medicine - MD candidate at the University of Zurich. In addition, Xinmin Simon Xie has earned a certification from UC Santa Crius Extension.
