Shahriar "Nick" Niakan

Shahriar "Nick" Niakan has extensive work experience in engineering and executive roles in various companies. Shahriar "Nick" began their career at Emerson Climate Technologies as a Development Engineer in 1986 and stayed with the company until 1991. Shahriar "Nick" then joined Watts Water Technologies as an Engineering Manager from 1991 to 1993. From 1993 to 1997, Niakan worked at Black & Decker as an Engineering Manager. In 1997, they joined K&N Engineering as the Director of R&D + Engineering until 1999. Shahriar "Nick" is currently serving as the President & CEO of Advanced FLOW Engineering, Inc. (aFe POWER) since 1999.

Shahriar "Nick" Niakan's education history began in 1981 when they attended Saint Louis University and pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering. Shahriar "Nick" completed their undergraduate studies in 1983. Moving forward, from 1985 to 1989, Nick attended Washington University in St. Louis, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. After a gap of several years, in 1995, they enrolled in Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, completing their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Marketing in 1997.
