Stephen Sewerynek

Stephen Sewerynek has over 20 years of work experience in software engineering. Stephen began their career in 1999 as a Software Engineer at MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates (MDA), followed by a role as a Software Engineer at AvantGo in 2000. In 2003, they moved to iAnywhere/Sybase as a Senior Software Engineer. Stephen then joined Good Technology in 2005, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2007, they were promoted to a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at Motorola Good Technology Group. The following year, they transferred to Motorola Mobile Devices as a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff. In 2011, they began working at Lab126 as a Senior Software Engineer, and also took on a role as a Senior Software Engineer - Android at Skype. From 2013-2015, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Lyve Minds, Inc., and they currently work as a Senior Software Engineer at Afero.

Stephen Sewerynek completed their Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Toronto in 1996. Stephen then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Physics from The University of British Columbia, which they completed in 1999.
