Jacob Segil

Jacob Segil is currently the CEO of Afference, Inc., which focuses on creating immersive XR entertainment experiences through wearable neural interfaces. Jacob is also a Research Assistant Professor and Program Director at the University of Colorado Boulder, where Jacob is involved in various roles such as teaching and leading research projects. In addition, Jacob holds various positions in different companies such as HeapSi LLC, Pathway Bioventures, Point Designs LLC, MITA LLC, and Infinite Biomedical Technologies. Jacob has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, along with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the same field.
