Sarah Richards

Sarah Richards is an experienced Electrical Project Engineer at Affiliated Engineers, Inc., since June 2020, specializing in medium-voltage campus distribution and low-voltage laboratory/office projects. Responsibilities include preparing construction drawings, specifications, and Basis of Design documents, along with performing power systems studies such as arc flash, short circuit, and breaker coordination studies, while ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code and applicable standards. Previously, Sarah held the positions of Electrical Engineer I and Electrical Engineering Intern at the same company, contributing to LEED documentation and energy modeling during an internship with the Building Performance Practice group. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UCLA and an Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering from Diablo Valley College.
