Willa Kuh

Willa Kuh currently serves as the Director of Planning for the Building Performance Practice at Affiliated Engineers, Inc., a position held since July 2011. Prior to this, Willa was a Senior Associate at Sasaki Associates from 2000 to 2011, focusing on project management for higher education and developer clients, particularly in complex environmental conditions and infrastructure development. Earlier in the career, Willa worked as a Land Planner for The Green Company on The Pinehills development, the largest project of its kind in New England. Willa's experience also includes significant roles in the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection, first as Associate Commissioner overseeing environmental permits and compliance from 1993 to 1998, and earlier as Director of Solid Waste Management, where Willa developed the state’s first comprehensive waste diversion plan. Willa holds a Master's degree in City and Regional Planning from Harvard University and a Bachelor's degree in History from Hampshire College.
