Hud Ibrahim

Hud Ibrahim has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Hud is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Affin Hwang Investment Bank since August 2023. Previously, they worked at Maybank Kim Eng for several years, holding various leadership roles such as Chief Operating Officer, International, Deputy Head of International Business, Head of CEO's Office in the Investment Bank, and Head of Regional Business Development and Management Offices in Brokerage. Hud has also held director positions in Maybank Investment Bank India, Maybank Securities United Kingdom, Maybank Securities USA Incorporated, and Maybank Properties USA Incorporated from 2022 to 2023. Prior to their roles at Maybank, Hud acquired experience in finance analysis and special projects in IT Business Services at Maybank itself and served as a Section Manager in Strategic Planning at PROTON Holdings Berhad. Hud began their career as an Associate in Strategy Management at KPMG Malaysia and worked as an ICT Security Consultant at Ascendsys Sdn Bhd.

Hud Ibrahim has a degree in Commerce with a focus on Finance from Curtin University, which was completed in 2003. In 2015, they obtained a Certificate in Business Accounting from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Hud later pursued further education at The London Institute of Banking & Finance, where they completed a program called "Agile Bank Leaders in a Digital Age" in 2021. Currently, they are enrolled at the University of Oxford, working towards a degree in Corporate Sustainability and Future of Work, expected to be completed in 2022.
