Sugato Chakrabarty

Sugato Chakrabarty is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in analytics, software engineering, and research. Currently serving as Vice President of Products, Solutions, and Innovation at Affine Analytics since December 2014, Sugato established the products group and led the development of advanced analytics solutions utilizing machine learning and AI. Previous roles include Director of Data Sciences at Manthan, where Sugato created the Data Sciences group focused on retail analytics, and Manager of Strategic Initiatives at Xerox Research Centre India. Early career highlights include significant roles at General Motors, Comverse Inc, and Digital Equipment Corporation, where Sugato advanced research and software development in various domains. Sugato holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Texas A&M University, an M.S. from the University of Delaware, and a B. Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology.
