Scott Nelson, CFO, MBA has a wealth of experience in the financial industry. Scott began their career in 1984 as a Financial Analyst at Unisys. In 1991, they moved to Cargill where they worked as a Staff Accountant and then as a Project Manager, Supply Chain Process Re-engineering from 1995 to 1997. From 1997 to 2015, they were the Chief Financial Officer at Starkey Hearing Technology, an $800 million, privately held world leader in the design and manufacture of advanced hearing solutions. During their time there, they led all Accounting and Financial functions worldwide and integrated cost reduction efforts around the globe, resulting in more than doubling the EBITDA percentage. From 2015 to 2016, they were the Chief Financial Officer at Tower Solutions LLC, providing strategic input to the Board of Directors and developing cash flow models. In 2016, they were the Consulting Chief Financial Officer at Affinitech, Inc. and Consulting CFO at Teachers On Call - TOC 24/7. Scott currently works at Impact CFO Services, providing Interim CFO services, financial consulting, strategy planning, business strategy, and board communications, for privately held companies from $1M-$50M.

Scott Nelson, CFO, MBA has an extensive educational background. Scott began their studies at Le Sueur High School, then went on to receive a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting from the University of Minnesota. Scott then furthered their education by completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business.
