Nicole Danek

Nicole Danek has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Nicole is currently working at Affini-T Therapeutics as a Scientist II. Prior to that, Nicole worked at Scholar Rock from 2018 to 2022, where they held the position of Senior Associate Scientist II in the Department of Discover Biology, Immunology. Their responsibilities at Scholar Rock included antibody screening by flow cytometry and evaluating antibodies at various development stages for multiple programs.

Before their role at Scholar Rock, Nicole worked at Takeda Oncology from 2015 to 2018 as a Research Associate in the Department of Early Discovery. Their work there involved assessing and validating early pipeline targets for small molecule drug development, evaluating viability consequences of target inhibition using Crispr-Cas9 and RNAi, and presenting findings at intra- and inter-department meetings.

Nicole's work experience also includes being a Student at Tufts University from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Associate of Development at Cell Signaling Technology from 2009 to 2012, and as an Intern at the same company from 2006 to 2009.

Nicole Danek holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Additionally, they have pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Tufts University.
