Alvaro Alves has had a long and successful career in investments, beginning in 1997 as an International Account Executive at Safra National Bank of New York. Alvaro then moved to Morgan Stanley as a First Vice President Investments in 1997. In 2008, Alvaro joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a Vice President Investments in New York City. Alvaro then moved to York Asset Management in 2011 as Managing Director - Global Investments. In 2015, Alvaro joined Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. as Associate Director - Investments. Alvaro is currently employed at Affinity Capital Exchange Inc. as Vice President Corporate Development since 2017.

Alvaro Alves' education history includes studying French Commerciale et Economique at the Ecole Commerciale de la Chambre de Commerce et d'industrie de Paris in Paris, France, earning a Bachelor of Arts in International Business & French from Ohio Wesleyan University, and obtaining a Law degree from Universidade Candido Mendes.
