David Oxmann

David Oxmann has a strong background in IT vendor contract and performance management. David currently holds the position of Lead IT Vendor Contract and Performance Specialist at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Strategic Sourcing Manager - IT at Amedisys Home Health & Hospice, where they managed all IT-related hardware/software sourcing, maintenance, and support contracts. David also has experience as a Purchasing Supervisor and Sourcing Specialist at Hancock Bank, an Information Technology Contract Administrator at Capital One, and a Corporate Account Manager at Bellwether Technology Corporation. In these roles, they were responsible for sourcing and managing computer-related hardware and software contracts, negotiating pricing and terms, and ensuring supplier relationship management.

David Oxmann completed their high school education at Archbishop Rummel High School in May 1985. David then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration at the University of New Orleans from 1985 to 1992. In 2013, they attended Louisiana State University for a Purchasing & Supply Management Certificate Program, focusing on Purchasing and Procurement, which they completed in 2014.
