Tom Carpenter

Tom Carpenter is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in data center operations, technical support, and information technology management. Currently retired, Tom served as a Senior Manager at Affinity Health Plan, overseeing computer operations and managing the technical service desk. Previous roles include Director of Information Technology at GHI HMO, where Tom established IT policies and managed the department's budget, as well as positions at Capital District Physicians Health Plan and The WellCare Management Group, focusing on application development and computer operations management. Tom's foundational experience includes technical writing and programming early in their career. Educational qualifications include a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Sociology from the State University of New York at New Paltz.
