Colin Foster

Colin Foster has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Colin is currently working at Affinity Water as a Data Strategy Team Lead, a role they started in 2023. Prior to this, they were the Data Portfolio Lead at Affinity Water from 2021 to 2023. Before joining Affinity Water, Colin worked at Elencia Ltd for a significant period, starting in 2013 and ending in 2021. At Elencia Ltd, they held the position of Project and Business Change Manager, where they provided project management, business change, and data management to clients. Colin also has experience working as a Data Privacy Project Manager at Aviva from 2018 to 2019, and as a Senior Project Manager at Flowgroup plc from 2017 to 2018. Colin has also held project management roles at License Dashboard, Barclays Wealth and Investment Management, Gallagher Heath, Tarmac, and Home 3 Assistance. Colin's earliest work experience dates back to 2000 when they started working at CPP Group plc, initially as a Customer Services Team Leader and later assuming various roles as a Dialler Administrator, Campaign Implementation Co-coordinator, Data Analyst, Senior Data Analyst, and ultimately a Data Manager.

Colin Foster attended the University of Lincoln from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Environmental Studies. Prior to that, they attended York sixth form college from 1989 to 1992. In their earlier education, they attended Lowfields from 1984 to 1989. Colin Foster also holds additional certifications, including Level 1 Mental Health Awareness from The Skills Network, Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) from Scrum.org, and various sailing certifications from the Royal Yachting Association (RYA). Colin also obtained PRINCE2 Practitioner and PRINCE2 Foundation certifications in 2011.
